This policy explains how EBW Enterprise LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information in the Chore Quest app and on ebwenterprisellc.com. Chore Quest is designed for families: a parent or guardian sets it up, and children use it with that parent's permission.
The short version
- A parent creates the account. Children never need an email address or password.
- We collect only what the app needs to work: chores, points, and allowance records.
- We do not show ads, we do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not track anyone across other apps or websites.
- A parent can see, change, or delete their family's information at any time.

From parents
- Name and email address, to create and secure the account
- Sign-in details from Apple or Google, if you choose to sign in that way
- Subscription status (payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card number)
- Messages you send to our support team
About children, entered by a parent
- First name or nickname
- The buddy character chosen
- Weekly allowance amount
Created while the family uses the app
- Chores, schedules, and point values
- When chores are checked off, approved, or sent back, and any notes a parent writes
- Points, levels, wallet balances, rewards, and reward requests
Collected automatically
- Basic device and app information (such as device type, operating system version, and app version) and crash reports, used only to keep the app working
We do not collect children's email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, precise location, or contacts.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To provide the app: show chores, calculate points and allowance, and sync your family's data across your devices
- To keep accounts secure and prevent misuse
- To answer support requests
- To fix bugs and improve the app
- To send parents service messages, such as receipts or important changes to this policy
We do not use children's information for advertising or marketing, and we do not build profiles of children.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Chore Quest, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
- Cloud hosting and database services, which store your family's data
- Crash reporting services, which help us find and fix errors
- Apple and Google, which process subscription payments
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or others. If EBW Enterprise LLC is ever sold or merged, this policy will continue to protect information collected under it.
Children's privacy
Chore Quest is directed to families and may be used by children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- A parent must create the account and agree to this policy before any child information is entered. This is how we obtain parental consent.
- We collect only the information a child needs to take part: their first name or nickname and their chore activity.
- Parents can review their child's information in the app, ask us for a copy, change it, stop further collection, or delete it, by using the app's settings or emailing privacy@ebwenterprisellc.com.
How long we keep information
We keep your family's information while your account is active. If you delete your account (in the app's settings, or by emailing us), we delete your family's information within 30 days, and it is removed from backups within 90 days. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
How we protect information
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects your data, as required by law.
Your choices and rights
- See and edit your information in the app at any time.
- Delete your account and all family data in the app or by email.
- Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, or other US states), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your information. Email us to make a request. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will notify parents in the app or by email before the changes take effect, and ask for consent again where the law requires it.
